After much debate, it is with a massively heavy heart that we feel we need to share some very sad news with our customers. Our long-time service manager of over 30 years, Wayne, has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and unfortunately has been given the devastating news that his life expectancy is between 3-18 months with treatment. He has informed as many people as he can, but we know after 33 years here, there will be a lot of people Wayne has served and helped and they would want to know.
Wayne has been soldiering on, as he always does, and is still at the shop, working in the mornings until he feels he is unable but obviously the upcoming treatment will affect this. He starts radiotherapy and chemotherapy on Monday 7th August, every week-day for 6 weeks, so will only be here as as when he feels able to be. If you [...]

- Comments Off on Motorcycle Technician vacancy
A new vacancy has arisen for a Motorcycle Technician to join our busy Service Team.
The successful applicant will ideally have some technical experience within the Motorcycle Industry, and be competent in routine servicing and repair work, although the right candidate with less experience would be considered. Mot tester status would also be of advantage.
An ability to work under pressure and attention to detail is a must, whilst a full, unrestricted Motorcycle licence held for at least 12 months is desirable. Existing Technical training within the Yamaha Motor Technical Academy would be an advantage, although enrolment and training will be given.
We offer a competitive Salary structure, good Pension contributions and Staff discounts.
We are a Premier Yamaha Motorcycle dealer with over 38 years within the Trade, and pride ourselves on Customer Service to the highest standard. Whilst we are a Yamaha Dealer primarily, our [...]

Hi all. Firstly, thank you each and every one for the custom and support you have given us since our reopening. To say that we really appreciate it and are grateful is an understatement, we are so happy to see old and new faces again.
An update on the way forward, and the moveable feast that are the Covid -19 safe rules.

- Comments Off on Covid-19 safe opening of showrooms..
To all our customers
We are incredibly pleased to say that our showrooms will reopen on Tuesday 2nd June 2020.
We will be operating under Covid-19 safe regulations.
This will mean that there will be a queue system into and out of the premises, with restrictions on the number of visitors and the number in family groups on the premises at any one time.
Hand sanitisers will be at the entrance and throughout the store, and the use of the washrooms and toilets will be monitored.
All areas will follow the covid-19 social distancing rules, and we would ask that you adhere to these for the safety of yourselves and our Team.
Please continue to email the appropriate section with your workshop and sales enquiries, as much can be done remotely limiting the need for you to be on the premises for longer than necessary.
Our workshop continues to be on a booking only basis [...]
