As we come out of lockdown by necessity we have to ensure you, and our staff are as Covid safe as possible.

When you visit us please follow the Covid safe rules to ensure your visit is enjoyable and relaxed:

Please wear a mask , donning before entry.

Please use the hand sanitiser, outside on the trolley and throughout the store.

Please follow the one way signage if you can, and all Covid notices that help to keep you and ourselves safe, and observe social distancing guidelines.

Please allow others space to safely complete their business before moving forward.

For booking in of your machines to our Service department on the day of your appointment please note our technicians do not begin work until 9.00 am, but you can arrive to book your bike in after 8.30 a.m. but be prepared to queue.

Following on from Government directions in December, from Midnight 19th December 2020 until further direction once again our retail showroom, parts clothing and accessories area is closed. However, we are please to say that our workshop, mail order and click and collect services will continue to operate, with workshop continuing by prior appointment only. Hi all. Firstly, thank you each and every one for the custom and support you have given us since our reopening. To say that we really appreciate it and are grateful is an understatement, we are so happy to see old and new faces again.

An update on the way forward, and the moveable feast that are the Covid -19 safe rules.

As I am sure you have all seen or heard by now, the wearing of “face coverings or masks” becomes compulsory from the 24th July whilst visiting retail shops.

We want you all to be as comfortable as possible with this and would appreciate it if you could pop one on as you arrive, perhaps whilst using the sanitiser as you enter the shop.

To all our customers

We are incredibly pleased to say that our showrooms will reopen on Tuesday 2nd June 2020.

We will be operating under Covid-19 safe regulations.

This will mean that there will be a queue system into and out of the premises, with restrictions on the number of visitors and the number in family groups on the premises at any one time.

Hand sanitisers will be at the entrance and throughout the store, and the use of the washrooms and toilets will be monitored.

All areas will follow the covid-19 social distancing rules, and we would ask that you adhere to these for the safety of yourselves and our Team.

Please continue to email the appropriate section with your workshop and sales enquiries, as much can be done remotely limiting the need for you to be on the premises for longer than necessary.

We are monitoring all updates regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, but currently our store is open as normal .

We are ensuring that surfaces and the public areas are cleaned regularly, and have hot water and soap available to staff and visitors alike for regular hand washing. Staff have been advised to be sensible and remain at home if they display any of the known symptoms.

We also offer a mail order service on many items of clothing, accessories and service items for those that do not wish or cannot travel to all UK addresses.

Motorcycling is truly the transport of choice currently, avoiding crowded public transport, and out in the fresh [...]

Due to a family wedding, and to enable our staff to join our celebrations this shop will close at 15.30 on Saturday 26th of October 2019.

Accounts Clerk and administrator

Flitwick Motorcycles are looking for an experienced person to join us in our small but busy accounts department.

The successful applicant will be experienced in accounting procedures, with a proven record of work within a busy office. They will be able to work without supervision, be accurate and have attention to detail, and be a people person.

Experience with accounts purchase and sales ledger procedures is a must, and computer literacy is needed for this role. Training will be given in the accounts operating system that we work with.

Previous use of the Basic PAYE RTI tools would be an advantage, as payroll preparation would be part of duties.

A basic understanding of the use of office (word and excel) will be required.

The role may also include some telephone work, and assistance in the busy times to other sales departments time permitting.

This month saw changes to the MOT regulations and requirements for Motorcycle testing, and some of the changes may affect our existing or new customers moving forward.

Notable changes that we feel you should be aware of are as follows:

Number plates light, in working order are now a requirement. Without the Motorcycle will now fail.

Retro fit HID headlights are now an automatic Mot fail.

Indicators that are incorporated into the rear light are now a fail.
