Partner and General Manager
David, the Son of Carole and Steve joined the family firm in 2015.In 2022 he became a full partner in the business, and will be the future of the firm, with Steve and Carole’s imminent retirement at the end of January 2024. He has overall responsibility for all departments, and can be seen assisting wherever he is needed. Married with two children he has both raced and ridden bikes from an early age, and it can be said has motorcycling in his veins. He is committed to customer care, and will always ensure you get the best customer experience possible.

Carole Linsdell
Owner
Carole has been joint owner with husband Steve since they opened Flitwick Motorcycles in February 1984. She has often been seen in the office, behind the counter, and on the shop floor, multi tasking in our many faceted Dealership. She has been responsible for the financial aspect of the business, and manages the general business day to day controls. She together with Steve intend to retire from the business at the end of January 2024, which will mark 40 years from the start of their business, but will remain a sleeping partner for a while.

Steve Linsdell
Owner
Steve is joint founder and owner with wife Carole, and what he doesn’t know about engines is probably not worth knowing. Having been involved in racing, building and tuning both modern and classic Motorcycles since 1976, he is well known in the Motorcycle world for building extremely fast and unusual race bikes, including the world famous Yamaha GTS based Isle of Man racer, and the fastest Royal Enfield 500 Single in the world. An experienced technician and Mot tester, he is has often been seen in the workshop assisting where needed.
Together with Carole he intends to retire from active involvement at the end of January 24, and will remain a sleeping partner thereafter.

Saul Towers
Sales Manager
Saul joined our Team in June 1997, as sales Manager, and will be seen on the sales floor helping all our valued clients to get the best deal and finance to suit their needs. He is the Man who can arrange your test ride, clear you on finance, and will always do so in a calm and courteous manner- he even cleans your new ride for you so it is perfect on collection.
His experience in the Motorcycle industry goes back to his 20’s, and that reflects in his vast understanding of your needs.

Paul Granger
Parts, Clothing & Accessories Manager
Paul initially joined the Flitwick Team in 2014, quickly becoming a key member in the Clothing, Parts and Accessory department. In 2017 he left due to family commitments, but after a period in the wilderness we were delighted when he rejoined us as department under management in January 2020. In 2022 he was promoted to Department manager, with the retirement of Mark Freeman, his predecessor. Paul has extensive knowledge of IT and product display, and is continually building his already great product knowledge in our trade. A key member of our team, he has overall control of the parts and accessory department, and together with his team will ensure that your buying experience is a positive one. He ensures that we always have the right mix of Parts clothing and accessories, and also together with Stephen ensures you are kept up to date on our that Social media platforms..

Stephen Fieldsend
Parts & Accessories Sales
Stephen joined us initially to assist in the picking and packing of our mail order section pre Covid, left during Covid, and rejoined us in September 21. A full time parts and accessory team member, he is responsible for the upkeep of our selling platforms, assists with social media updates, and picks packs and processes our online orders, alongside other members of the team. He also books in stock, and serves on the department floor. He is married with two children and is also a fantastic musician.

Ben Bowers
Parts & Accessories Sales
Ben joined us mid-2022, and can be seen within the parts, clothing and accessory department. He has extensive experience within the Motorcycle Industry, having worked within it for many years, and is a keen motorcyclist. He is always happy to assist you with your buying needs, between booking in stock, picking and packing and answering the phone. He has three children with his partner, so leads a very busy life. Ben will always do his absolute best to help you choose the best option, or find the part you need, always with a smile.

Workshop
Pierre Maezlar
Workshop Manager
Pierre joined us in the Autumn of 2023, to sit in the role of Service Manager, due to Wayne’s (his predecessor) ongoing serious illness. He is a regular motorcyclist and has worked within the Motorcycle Industry. He is responsible for booking in your pride and joys, for service, MOT, repairs or warranty work, and ensuring your new bikes are prepared on time. His role is to ensure that the time is allocated, the jobs are loaded and ready for the techs. He liases with our technicians to ensure the job is understood, he makes sure the parts ( if they are not in stock) are ordered in readiness for the job to be done. He will keep in touch with you to ensure you are always aware of any issues, and will do so with smile.

Wayne Kempson
Former Workshop Manager
Wayne has been with us since 1992, leaving briefly during that period, to emigrate to Australia and rejoining the Flitwick team in March 2009. Originally part of the parts department, he moved over to the Workshop and until early in 2023 was our Service writer, controlling our very busy workshop. he could always be relied on to assist to the best of his ability, and his parts knowledge and memory was second to none. He is currently fighting a battle with the big C, so is unable to work, but he is and will always remain a valued and loved member of our Flitwick Team.

Conor Grant
Chief Technician and Mot tester
Conor joined us in April 2020, having fully qualified as a motorcycle technician with a well know Triumph dealer. He became an Mot tester under our umbrella in September that year, achieving a Silver Yamaha technical guild standard at the same time. He has since Achieves a Tech 11 Diploma with the Yamaha Academy, and is a fully trained EV Tech, His attention to detail and technical knowledge will ensure that your machines are maintained to the very highest standard.

Dave Goldsmith
Motorcycle Technician and Mot Tester
Dave joined our Team in June 2020, having been a qualified Motorcycle Technician and Class 1 and 2 Mot Tester for many years.
He brought with him a vast wealth of experience of most Major Brands, most with a well known local Suzuki dealership until it’s closure in May 2020.
He is a fully trained Academy Technician Diploma holder, and a very valued member of our team.
He is a regular Motorcyclist, having a stable of both Modern and Classic machines, and enjoys watching Motorsports of all types, and is Married with children..,

Brandon Keen
Apprentice Technician
Brandon joined us as a Saturday trainee in the workshop, and joined the team as a full time Apprentice the end of August 21. He is currently studying for an IMI level three in Motorcycle maintenance and repair, as well as learning on the job with us and will joint the Yamaha Academy in 2024.
Brandon is becoming a true asset to our Workshop, and is always keen to learn more. He Races Motorcycles in his spare time ( a true biker).

Sarah joined our team in September 2019, and is the one that keeps our accounts in control, and makes sure we pay our suppliers and staff on-time. She can be seen beavering away in the office, and has very quickly made herself indispensable.
