Carole has been joint owner with Husband Steve since they opened Flitwick Motorcycles in 1984. She is often seen in the office, behind the counter, and on the shop floor, multi tasking in our many faceted Dealership. She is responsible for the financial aspect of the business, and manages the general business day to day controls.

Steve Linsdell

Owner

Steve is joint owner with Wife Carole, and what he doesn’t know about engines is probably not worth knowing. Having been involved in racing, building  and tuning both modern and classic Motorcycles since 1976, he is well known in the Motorcycle world for building extremely fast and unusual race bikes, including the world famous Yamaha GTS based Isle of Man racer, and the fastest Royal Enfield 500 Single in the world. An experienced technician and Mot tester, he is often seen in the workshop assisting where needed.

David Linsdell

David Linsdell

Manager

David, the Son of Carole and Steve joined the family firm in 2015. He is to be seen in all departments, assisting where needed, and will be the future of the firm when Carole and Steve retire. Married with one child (and another due in 2020) he both races and rides bikes on a regular basis. He is committed to customer care, and will always ensure you get the best customer experience possible.

Sales Manager

Saul joined our Team in June 1997, as sales Manager, and will be seen on the sales floor helping all our valued clients to get the best deal and finance to suit their needs. He is the Man who can arrange your test ride, clear you on finance, and will always do so in a calm and courteous manner- he even cleans your new ride for you so it is perfect on collection.

His experience in the Motorcycle industry goes back to his 20’s, and that reflects in his vast understanding of your needs.

Parts & Accessories


Mark Freeman

Mark Freeman

Parts & Accessories Manager

Mark has been and integral part of our Team since 1989, and runs our successful Parts and accessories department. Responsible for product ordering, amongst many other managerial skills, he is the one that makes your experience in the parts and accessory department extraordinary. He has raced motorcycles successfully and rides regularly, owning as part of his fleet several Yamaha Motorcycles. you can be sure he will do his best to make sure that we have what you need.

Barbara Stevens

Barbara Stevens

Clothing & Accessories Support

“Babs” has been with us since 1997, joining us as e receptionist, and later moving to our clothing and accessory department. Now part time, she can be seen on the clothing and accessory counter, and is always there to have a laugh and a joke with you, between serving your clothing and accessory needs, and picking and packing the mail orders, alongside other duties. She rides regularly, having several motorcycles, including classic and modern.

Paul Granger

Parts, Clothing & Accessories under manager

Paul initially joined the Flitwick Team in 2014, quickly becoming a key member in the Clothing, Parts and Accessory department. In 2017 he left due to family commitments, but after a period in the wilderness we were delighted when he rejoined us as department under management in January 2020. Paul has extensive knowledge of IT and product display, and is building his already great product knowledge in our trade. A key member of our team, he is here to assist you in any of your parts, clothing and accessory needs, whilst ensuring that our Social media is kept up to date.

Wayne Kempson

Workshop Manager

Wayne has been with us since 1992, leaving briefly during that period,  to emigrate to Australia and rejoining the Flitwick team in March 2009. Originally part of  the parts department, he moved over to the Workshop and currently is our Service writer, controlling our very busy workshop. he can always be relied on to assist to the best of his ability, and  his parts knowledge and memory is second to none.

Conor Grant

Conor Grant

Technician and Mot tester

Conor joined us in April 2020, having fully qualified as a motorcycle technician with a well know Triumph dealer. He became an Mot tester under our umbrella in September this year, achieving a Silver Yamaha technical guild standard at the same time. His attention to detail and technical knowledge will ensure that your machines are maintained to the highest standard.

Office administration


Sarah Potter

Account administrator

Sarah joined our team in September 2020, and is the one that keeps our accounts in control, and makes sure we pay our suppliers and staff on-time. She can be seen beavering away in the office, and has very quickly made herself indispensable.
