Three of the best from Yamaha.
Once again Yamaha has scooped up the top awards in three of the most important classes in the prestigious annual MCN awards announced today, Wednesday 19th October.
The awesome MT-10 arrived in the UK in May and made an instant impact topping the UK two wheeler sales charts for the following three months. Its blend of naked aggression coupled with cutting edge R1 technology and attractive pricing simply outclassed the opposition ensuring that the MT-10 was declared winner of the MCN Naked Unlimited class for 2016.
With the MT flagship topping the big naked class it was left to another MT to bring home the honours in the all-important MCN Naked Middleweight class where once again the amazing MT-07 took the top prize. Having been voted MCN Bike of the Year in 2014 following its launch, the twin cylinder MT-07 wins the MCN Naked Middleweight class for the second year in succession underlining just what an outstanding motorcycle it is.
Arguably the most important category in the MCN awards is the coveted All Rounder title. Given to a machine that delivers in every different role the award goes to the Tracer 900 for the second year running and underlines the truly exceptional abilities of this unique machine.
Unsurprisingly the three 2017 MCN award winning machines are all powered by Yamaha’s latest generation of Crossplane engines. The breadth of the awards and importance of these unique powerplants underlines Yamahas commitment to developing engines that deliver real world enjoyment and excitement to all types of riders. And the awards celebrate the CP4, CP3 and CP2 engines found in these chart topping machines.
