After much debate, it is with a massively heavy heart that we feel we need to share some very sad news with our customers. Our long-time service manager of over 30 years, Wayne, has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and unfortunately has been given the devastating news that his life expectancy is between 3-18 months with treatment. He has informed as many people as he can, but we know after 33 years here, there will be a lot of people Wayne has served and helped and they would want to know.

Wayne has been soldiering on, as he always does, and is still at the shop, working in the mornings until he feels he is unable but obviously the upcoming treatment will affect this. This month saw changes to the MOT regulations and requirements for Motorcycle testing, and some of the changes may affect our existing or new customers moving forward.

Notable changes that we feel you should be aware of are as follows:

Number plates light, in working order are now a requirement. Without the Motorcycle will now fail.

Retro fit HID headlights are now an automatic Mot fail.

Indicators that are incorporated into the rear light are now a fail.

As always, if you have any concerns then please ask when booking your bike in, and we will do our best to advise you.

At last the Weather is showing signs of improvement, and our minds turn to getting out on the roads again. For those of you who are considering buying your big first bike, or changing up, remember that we have a fleet of demonstrator machines so you can try before you buy.

You must have a full Motorcycle Licence, with only minor convictions and no accidents or claims within the last three years, but please ring us for the full criteria.

We have just added the  MT-03, MT-07, MT-09 and MT-10  to our demo fleet, and with low rate finance deals and free Accessory  packs on many of the Yamaha range there’s never been a better time to buy.

Give Saul, David or Carole a ring to discuss.
